A city of beaches
Vancouver sits right on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, so it goes without saying there is so much beach front! The beaches are mostly classic Pacific Northwest beaches with lots of big pebbles, and less finer sand. Several of the beaches, like Spanish Banks, Jericho and Kitsilano, have lots of fine sand and are great for activities such as beach volleyball and spike ball!

Some of the best Vancouver beaches include: Kitsilano Beach, Jericho Beach, English Bay Beach, Second Beach, Third Beach, Locarno Beach, Spanish Banks, Tower Beach, and the word-famous nude beach Wreck Beach at the west end of UBC in Point Grey.
Other famous beaches from surrounding areas of Vancouver include Deep Cove, Crescent Beach, and White Rock.
